Amongst the most cold-hardy of succulents, many are able to handle surprising amounts of heat too. The colours really come out in the cool season and there are a lot of colours available in Sedum and their hybrids. Summer colour is usually dull but comes back with cool weather. Important tip is to make sure leaves dry out before night so water only in the morning.
