Adeniums are basically one of the few flowering plants that are truly adapted to hot and dry conditions and so are great flowering pot plants and, with some extra drainage, make great landscape plants too.

They are water-wise, naturally adapted to arid condition and overall tough plants that are easy to grow under tropical conditions but are still very amenable to being grown, with some care, under temperate conditions (with frost free winter storage).
